Comparing laboratory equipment is complicated by the fact that it can be difficult to collect and compare specifications from different manufacturers and suppliers. In 2010 and 2011, we had to gather specifications to elaborate a “Request for quotation” for various scientific laboratory equipments, for a project funded by a CFI grant.
