   * **[[http://www.datadryad.org|Data Dryad]]** is an international repository of data underlying peer-reviewed articles in the basic and applied biosciences. Dryad enables scientists to validate published findings, explore new analysis methodologies, repurpose data for research questions unanticipated by the original authors, and perform synthetic studies.
   * **[[http://knb.ecoinformatics.org/morphoportal.jsp|Morpho]]** Data Management Software allows you to create and manage your data, and to share it with others. It was created to provide an easy-to-use, cross-platform application for accessing and manipulating metadata and data (both locally and on the network).
   * **[[http://polardata.ca/|Polar Data Catalogue]]** is a database of metadata and data that describes, indexes and provides access to diverse data sets generated by Arctic and Antarctic researchers. The records follow Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) standard format to provide metadata exchange with other data centres.

   * **[[http://www.canadensys.net/|Canadensys]]** aims to unlock the specimen information held by Canadian university-based biological collections and share this via a network of distributed databases, compatible with other biodiversity information networks like the Canadian Biodiversity Information Facility (CBIF) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
   * **[[http://manisnet.org/|Manis]]** aims to facilitate open access to combined mammal specimen data from a web browser, enhance the value of mammal specimen collections, conserve curatorial resources, and use a design paradigm that can be easily adopted by other disciplines with similar needs.
   * **[[http://www.ornisnet.org/|ORNIS]]** addresses the urgent call for increased access to collection ornithological data in an open and collaborative manner, and involves development of a suite of online software tools for data analysis and error-checking.
   * **[[http://www.herpnet.org/|Herpnet]]** is a collaborative effort by natural history museums to establish a global network of herpetological collections data, funded by the National Science Foundation and GBIF.
