The time has come to register for the QCBS Student Biodiversity Research Derby, which will be held from the evening of Friday, Nov. 20 to mid-day Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Gault Nature Reserve (Mt. St-Hilaire)! The Research Derby will be an opportunity for QCBS students and post-docs to work together in small teams (~5 people) during an intensive weekend of science. Participants will arrive after dinner on the Friday, split into teams and receive information about the data sets to be used over the weekend and some suggested questions. Teams will work throughout the day (and into the night if you want!) on Saturday and the Sunday morning to decide on a question of interest, complete analyses and prepare a short presentation for mid-day on Sunday. Teams will present their work on Sunday for the chance to win some great prizes! The goal of this event is to build collaborative skills, meet other QCBS students and post-docs and have fun! Some groups may even decide to continue on with their projects after the event. The time has come to register for the QCBS Student Biodiversity Research Derby, which will be held from the evening of Friday, Nov. 20 to mid-day Sunday, Nov. 22 at the Gault Nature Reserve (Mt.
